PawsForecast is an educational and informational weather safety estimation tool. It does not constitute, provide, or substitute for professional veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our weather risk assessments are calculated from ambient meteorological data models and estimated solar pavement thermal transfer equations. Every dog is an individual; age, weight, respiratory anatomy, cardiovascular health, hydration, and acclimation drastically affect thermal tolerance. If your dog exhibits signs of heatstroke, severe panting, shivering, or paw pad injuries, seek immediate emergency veterinary attention.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PawsForecast (pawsforecast.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
2. Use of Our Tools and Weather Calculations
PawsForecast grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and interact with our dog walking weather calculations for personal, non-commercial pet care purposes. You agree not to scrape, reverse-engineer, mass-query, or disrupt our API endpoints or servers.
3. Accuracy of Meteorological Data
Weather data is retrieved via third-party meteorological APIs (including Open-Meteo). While we endeavor to provide the most precise hyper-local forecasting possible, micro-climates, direct sun exposure, asphalt surface color, and ambient humidity can cause localized ground temperatures to deviate from regional forecasts. Always perform the manual 7-Second Pavement Test (placing the back of your hand firmly against the walking surface for 7 seconds) before walking your dog on warm sunny days.
4. Amazon Associates & Commercial Affiliate Disclosure
PawsForecast participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. If you click an affiliate link to a recommended winter bootie, heated dog bed, or cooling vest, we may earn a modest commission at zero additional cost to you. All content, safety algorithms, editorial guides, graphics, logos, and software code on PawsForecast are the intellectual property of PawsForecast and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Under no circumstances shall PawsForecast, its creators, or its contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use this website, including but not limited to pet injuries, heat exhaustion, paw burns, or frostbite. You assume full responsibility for assessing your dog's physical wellbeing and environmental safety.
